I always encourage healthy snacks throughout the day, such as fruit and veggies. I also understand the urge to have a little something sweet. We all want a sweet snack from time-to-time. I know I do! So, I am so excited to share a healthy BUT absolutely delicious snack with you, Peanut Butter Protein Poppers!
They are super easy to make and loaded with nutrients. I am all about foods having a purpose. Meaning, each ingredient should be healthy and have a function in your body. For example, peanut butter is a good source of plant based protein and essential fatty acids. Flax seeds are loaded with fiber and antioxidants. Coconut contains healthy essential fatty acids. You get the point!
So, without further ado, here is the recipe for my Peanut Butter Protein Poppers. And, if you are allergic to nuts you can replace nuts with a seed butter, such as sunflower seed or chia seed butter. Enjoy!
