  • Keep protein- and fiber-rich snacks on hand to stay satisfied and reduce cravings.

3. Staying Active

Physical activity is often the first thing to go during the holidays, but it’s essential for maintaining energy and reducing stress.

  • Try seasonal activities like a family walk after dinner, ice skating, or even a quick at-home workout. Movement doesn’t have to be complicated—just consistent.

4. Healthy Holiday Choices

When it comes to holiday meals, balance is key. Use the “perfect plate” method:

  • Adorn half your plate with greens.
  • Dedicate a quarter to nourishing protein.
  • Reserve a special corner for those holiday delights.
  • Be the person that brings something healthy! A vibrant winter salad or roasted veggies can be a hit with everyone!
